Helena works closely with organisations who help individuals through the creative arts. Helena regularly offers songwriting and percussive workshops within many schools, mental health settings, rehabilitation hospitals and community groups. In addition Helena performs within many care settings.
After her degree in Psychology and Counselling through The Open University, she aims to complete a masters in Music Therapy.
“24 service users on Bromley, Brocton and Chebsey sang along or closed their eyes and drifted to another place whilst Helena sang traditional folk songs. By the end of both sessions, staff observed how the music had had a great calming effect.”
